Refugees and Asylum Seekers

From time to time we receive emails from those outside Canada seeking assistance and or sponsorship in order to escape their home country. Unfortunately, the Secular Humanists of Calgary was founded in Feb of 2020. We are a small local community that is not large enough to be able to sponsor those who need to escape their environment. This is something we would definitely love to do one day but unfortunately, we have a long ways to go for that to happen. Please seek national organizations that have specific programs geared towards this kind of help.
